Package: opencl-headers Version: 1.2-2014.04.13-1.1 Severity: normal Hi,
OpenCL 2.0 are available from Khronos website for a few months. Two days ago, AMD released its OpenCL 2.0 driver: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/OpenCL2-Driver.aspx With this software, we (ocl-icd developpers) have been able to reverse engeenering the order of the new 2.0 functions in the dispatch table. So, ocl-icd will release a new version in a few minutes that supports OpenCL ICDs up to 2.0 version. We want to package this new version of ocl-icd in Debian before the freeze. But, in order to compile it, we need OpenCL *2.0* headers. Do you plan to update opencl-headers quickly? Do you want I help you to prepare a new version? Or do you want to keep 1.2 headers in Jessie? In the latter case, I will just include OpenCL 2.0 headers in the ocl-icd source package in order to be able to compile it. So, just tell me what you plan to do for Jessie and I will adapt myself wrt ocl-icd.
