the above isn't a version of the debian packaging -- it's just a version
of the upstream source code. So it's hard for the people reading the
report to know what version of the debian packaging you tried building.
gpgme1.0 version 1.5.1-5 contains a fix (contributed by NIIBE Yutka) to
force automake 1.11. I have a patch pending that augments that to
ensure that aclocal and acmake are used identically.
I'll go ahead and upload that change as 1.5.1-6 shortly, and mark it as
closing this bug. If you find you still can't build properly on a
debian sid chroot, please reopen this bug and give more details about
what you're trying to build specifically.
