The problem is: some maintainers don't even reply to the users, even when I send them a patch to fix some problem. The only thought that passes thru my mind in such situations is that Debian should have a way to enforce the developers to, at least, give some signal of life once in a lifetime (they, after all, committed themselves to maintain their packages). I have plenty of bugs open for more than 6 months. Ok, but this has nothing to do with the bug in laptop-mode-tools. :-) Sorry for the rant, but I needed to vent my opinion. Perhaps I should apply to be a maintainer of some packages, mostly taking care of QA. Thank you very much for your efforts packaging l-m-t, Rogério. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Rogério Brito - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - http://www.ime.usp.br/~rbrito =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
