Package: xserver-xorg-core Version: 2:1.16.0-2+b1 Severity: normal
I was running xserver-xorg-core 2:1.14.5-1 so far and updated to version 2:1.16.0-2+b1 today, as well as going from an older kernel version to linux-image-3.14-2-amd64 v3.14.15-2 as present in today's Debian/jessie (also all the other packages on my system are up2date with today's Debian/jessie). I'm using xserver-xorg-video-intel with i915 driver on a Lenovo x230 laptop with: | 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09) and two external monitors, no custom xorg.conf and using the openbox window manager. When I switch from one virtual desktop in X.org to a different desktop using the keyboard in the openbox window manager, it quite often triggers: | (II) AIGLX: Suspending AIGLX clients for VT switch and as a result sadly causing a ~1sec delay until it's displaying the desktop I am actually switching to (X.org doesn't crash though). Amusingly this delay does NOT happen at all when I'm using the *mouse* to switch between desktops using lxpanel. Sadly I'm not yet aware which component is responsible for this buggy behaviour, but according to http://sources.debian.net/src/xorg-server/2:1.12.4-6%2Bdeb7u2/glx/glxdri2.c/?hl=625#L625 the log message comes from xserver-xorg-core, so reporting it in case someone else explores this problem. If someone has any hints what might cause this issue please let me know. regards, -mika- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
