Piglit is used extensively for testing of the open source Mesa project. Piglit has not previously done any official project releases. This is why I set the version at 0.0.0. The piglit builds will use a version of the form 0.0.0~git[8 digit date]-[7 hex git sha1 prefix]-[debian version] I plan to maintain debian piglit myself, although there are a few Debian Developers that are also work on piglit which may end up helping to maintain it.
