Package: lintian Version: 2.5.25 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I am packaging a project written in C++, that embeds some compiled javascript. One of this is jquery, so I do not install the compiled version present in the tar file, and I make it depend on libjs-jquery and use a soft link to point at that one, to avoid duplication. However, even if the compiled jquery is not shipped, I get the error E: subsurface source: source-is-missing theme/jquery.min.js But I think that patching the upstream release to remove that file or add the source in the debian/sources-missing directory would not make much sense, since the file is not installed.
