Hi,
the only method to force a snapshot (local filesystem) is check one of
the options (translated from Italian) "copy links...", in other words,
almost one of the last check-box in expert options.

Without checking one of these options, the snapshot is empty even if
some files are changed in a directory.

Please write me, I try to provide you more information.
