Yes, what happens is that gimp-ufraw tries to open the file as a raw file, and if it fails, then it uses gimp to open it. It does this because some cameras save their raw files as tiff. When you open a tiff file, what happens? Does it give an error message? > I found a thread on the ufraw-dev mailinglist¹ which mentions the > issue I address being fixed in 0.19 but gimp-ufraw 0.19.2-2 in debian > testing still has this issue. The fix mentioned in the mailing list was just adding ".tiff" and ".jpeg" as extensions to check for failures, and not just ".tif" and ".jpg". -- Hubert Chathi <[email protected]> -- Jabber: [email protected] PGP/GnuPG key: 1024D/124B61FA http://www.uhoreg.ca/ Fingerprint: 96C5 012F 5F74 A5F7 1FF7 5291 AF29 C719 124B 61FA -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
