A very short review -> d/compat: why are you going from compat=9 to compat=7? -> d/changelog: Please don't just document *what* you did, but also *why* and maybe also the outcome, for example did you need to do anything to bump the S-V? -> d/copyright: Appreciated that you reworked to use the "dep5" format, however please recheck content... There are a few errors (e.g compat/getopt.c are marked License: permissive but it is indeed LGPL There are several more errors, you should recheck the licenses *compeletly*. Otherwise the package looks ok, but someone with more python experience is more suitable to sponsor this package... Thanks for your contribution! -- tob
