Package: dose-builddebcheck Version: 3.0.2-3 Severity: normal Hi!
I started playing with dose-builddebcheck and found in the manual: > --deb-native-arch=name > Specify the native architecture. The default behavior is to > deduce the native architecture from the first package stanza in > the input that has an architecture different from all. which implies that this is an optional parameter and not mandatory -- and if not specified, it will look at the Architecture fields in the Packages files given to it. However (excuse the funny quoting, this is copied out of a script): $ 'dose-builddebcheck' '--failures' '--explain' 'cache/Packages_wheezy-main-amd64-1405126765' 'cache/Packages_wheezy-backports-main-amd64-1407538970' 'cache/Sources_wheezy-backports-main-source-1407538970' Fatal error in module applications/deb-buildcheck.ml: You must at least specify the native architecture Adding '--deb-native-arch' 'amd64' to the command line makes it happy. The packages in sid (3.2.2-2) exhibit the same behaviour. (thanks for this tool -- it's great!) cheers Stuart -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.6 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (550, 'stable-updates'), (550, 'stable'), (60, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.14-0.bpo.2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages dose-builddebcheck depends on: ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.6-4 ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u3 ii libpcre3 1:8.30-5 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 dose-builddebcheck recommends no packages. dose-builddebcheck suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
