Package: iptables
Version: 1.4.21-2
Severity: normal
I just crossgraded from i386 to x32, but am still running the same
amd64 kernel as I was before. After a reboot, my forwarding rules
for the tun interfaces no longer come up; this is in boot log:
Fri Aug 8 22:57:56 2014: Set 'tap0' persistent and owned by uid 2339
Fri Aug 8 22:57:56 2014: iptables v1.4.21: can't initialize iptables table
at': Invalid argument
Fri Aug 8 22:57:56 2014: Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.
Fri Aug 8 22:57:56 2014: Failed to bring up tap0.
When I try it manually…
tglase@tglase:~ $ sudo iptables -vL
iptables v1.4.21: can't initialize iptables table ilter': Invalid argument
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded.
Version is the same though:
tglase@tglase:~ $ apt-cache policy iptables:{i386,x32}
