Hi, I've commited this change but had to revert:
http://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/apticron.git/commit/?id=1a8d10bd6d90721ca142c157e8630c062e74afc6 The reason is that the apt-get -qq option can't go without --force-yes, and --force-yes seems say yes to downloading unauthenticated packages. There's -assume-no, but this says no to everything, so never downloads packages. Since apticron never installs packages I don't consider it to be a serious issue, but any idea to avoid those unauthenticated packages stored will be welcome. I can't much give time to it now.
