Starting the installation from dvd-drive with the option "install-2.4" on a powerbook 5,8 (October 2005), the kernel starts but panics while attempting to read beyond the end of the ramdisk. It tries to read at 8259 (+/- a few), but the ramdisk ends at 8192. Changing the initrd-size to 10240 (the same size install/linux-2.6 is using there) within yaboot.conf helps.
