The small footprint CIM client (sfcc) library is a C API allowing client applications to interface with CIM (Common Information Model) implemenations (e.g. CIM servers). Due to its small memory and disk footprint, it is well- suited for embedded environments. This package is a dependency on another package that I'd like to include in Debian, which is Openwsman (ITP to be filed soon). Openwsman has been adopted by server vendors like Dell and it enables in-band management of Linux/*nix/Windows platforms. It is a specification for managing computer systems using web services standards. I'm looking for sponsorship of this package and I plan to upload it to mentors soon.
