Thank you, Colin. I tried to discover how to submit the patch upstream, but they just have the following reference page http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/software/fitsio/fitsio.html that says:
"Submit questions or bug reports related to CFITSIO to the CFITSIO/CCFITS help desk. " So, I sent the request to add ppc64el and the 'patch' in an email to [email protected] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
