Package: iceweasel Version: 24.6.0esr-1~deb7u1 Severity: normal Iceweasel 24.6.0 has the --disable-gstreamer complie time option as listed in about:buildconfig, which means youtube's HTML5 player doesn't work with H264 videos even if the about:config option media.gstreamer.enabled is set to true. http://www.youtube.com/html5 reports no H.264 support, it worked before the Iceweasel 24.5.0 update a month or so ago.
Iceweasel used the gstreamer 0.10 packages which are still available in stable, I saw from some googling ( http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg- mozilla-maintainers/2014-May/015728.html ) that support was removed because gstreamer 0.10 was no longer available in testing.
