Since debian-security-support installed very well in several other
installations, there is something specific on your side that I cannot
identify from the information above. Can you please insert "set -x" in
the second line of /var/lib/dpkg/info/debian-security-support.postinst
and run "apt-get -f install" and/or 
"dpkg-reconfigure debian-security-support"? That output should provide
enough to find the root cause.
