I have a quite annoying problem with evince. I have been trying to migrate from the multiple viewers (dvi, ps, pdf, dejavu etc) to evince, but I just discovered a problem with some files of mine. I just "printed" a page to a Postscript file while using Mozilla and then converted this file to PDF using ps2pdf (which uses Ghostscript, AFAIK). The problem is that, then, when I try to view it with evince, it just displays blank pages. This problem doesn't happen when the very same file is viewed with gv. It also doesn't happen when I use xpdf. I can, OTOH, see the original postscript file (before the conversion) with evince. I can send you two files that display this behaviour, if you're interested in trying to reproduce the behaviour.
