Hi, So this bug has been known and ignored by upstream for more than four years now, and there's at least three separate bugs tracking it in the Debian BTS, including #652739, which after finally being forwarded upstream, appears to have again just been ignored by them.
Both Redhat and Ubuntu are shipping patched versions that do not have this problem, and I can't find any reports of regressions or other problems they have seen, so could we please not be the only distro where DHCP fails if you have hardware that does checksum offloading ...
