Great to hear someone is working on util-linux! I did not expect there would be much worry about collisions here since there hasn't been many uploads for a while, a long time since there's any activity in the official git repository, and no feedback on this (and other) bug reports. I'm already building with 3.0 (quilt) myself, also using dh7, dh-autoreconf, compat 9, etc, etc... If you have an updated version of "hash passphrases -debian compatibility" ( http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=users/lamont/util-linux.git;a=commit;h=23c9f34b9098ac22c1358001c40c17209bdb46ab ) that would be something I would be very interested in, because I have simply disabled it for now in my build.
