Package: lilypond Version: 2.18.0-1 Severity: wishlist Dear Don,
Thanks very much for packaging LilyPond 2.18.0! I use this package quite a lot (even though it is under Ubuntu Trusty, at the moment), so I appreciate your work! I note that LilyPond 2.18.2 was released on 23rd March. This version essentially provides updated manuals only, although I didn't go through the diff line by line. I've repackaged 2.18.2 for my own system, as you can see from http://www.zap.org.au/viewvc/debian-packages/debian-updates/lilypond/ and from my package repository: deb ftp://ftp.zap.org.au/pub/debian zapgroup-sid main contrib non-free deb-src ftp://ftp.zap.org.au/pub/debian zapgroup-sid main contrib non-free The only thing that had to change was debian/changelog. Could you therefore update the official Debian package? Thanks! I note that the current package has some lintian errors, as listed below. If I have a chance, I'll try to whip up a patch to at least turn these into warnings...
