Interestingly enough, this issue affects engrampa in Debian testing/unstable. But it does _not_ affect my engrampa version from wheezy-backports.
Another phenomen is: the file extension .rar is not considered an archive file format. So when opening the "Open" dialog box, .rar files do not get listed when filtering out non-archive-file-extensions.
