Hi, the patch in 630496 works in principle, but only for environment variables set to "$protocol://$host:$port". IOW: I have mine set to http_proxy="http://proxy:3128/"; which doesnt work. http_proxy="http://proxy:3128"; works nicely though. cheers, Holger
