Since it seems to be caused only by the tiny version number difference which was introduced by the binNMU, there should be a very simple fix for it: artificially bump the version number to 1:0.124.1+20140122git5013bed0-3, changing nothing else, upload and let the buildd do the job, producing binaries linked with db5.3 for all architectures. Can Debian Multimedia Maintainers do that, or should I (src)NMU it?
