Package: apertium-es-pt
Version: 1.0.3-2.1
Severity: normal
here are three attempts to use apertium-es-pt:
0 dkg@alice:~$ echo hola | apertium es-pt
olá
0 dkg@alice:~$ echo holad | apertium es-pt
*holad
0 dkg@alice:~$ echo viajes | apertium es-pt
Error: Unknown error matching regexp (code -28)
0 dkg@alice:~$
I think there are two problems with the final request:
a) apertium should produce some reasonable output, even if it doesn't
know a given word, such as reproducing the word with a * before it,
as it does in the earlier command.
b) when there is an internal failure, apertium should produce a
non-zero return code (the shell prompt shows the return code,
which is 0 even on an error)
Thanks for maintaining apertium in debian!
Regards,
--dkg
