Browsing the various issues on the github branch, I saw : https://github.com/libimobiledevice/libimobiledevice/issues/66 and https://github.com/libimobiledevice/libimobiledevice/issues/68
They both seem related. And it looks like they all point to segfaults when not using usbmudx version 1.0.9. Following on that, I read this: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=746634 I have no time today to test with an updated usbmuxd, but after reading these reports, I'm pretty sure a dependency is in order.
