Package: apt
Version: 1.0.3
Severity: normal

Now that apt supports installing multiarch packages, users start to use
it and encounters file conflicts between packages. Some people are even
actively looking for them [1]. Unfortunately there is currently no way
to fix them as apt currently ignores cross-architecture conflicts.

Could you please therefore add support for cross-architecture conflicts?
Thanks in advance.
