Package: piuparts-master Severity: serious thanks Cron files, installed in /etc/cron.d, are not in the right format. The required 'user' field is omitted.
Because of this issue, slaves are not started at boot, and no normal recovery or retest actions are taken. Reports are not automatically generated. Documentation is insufficient for straightforward manual work-arounds (see also #746718). Setting to 'serious', because it "makes the package in question unusable or mostly so", or "makes the package unsuitable for release". https://release.debian.org/testing/rc_policy.txt This is assigned to piuparts-master, to avoid a release-critical bug against piuparts. The issue applies to piuparts-slave as well. Previous mention: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/piuparts-devel/2012-June/003048.html Also, more cron tasks than are necessary are commented out, with insufficient guidance on what/when to enable. -- "Le mieux est l'ennemi du bien" - Voltaire
