Can you please confirm this is not a wicd bug trying to reproduce this with wicd-gtk? Remember wicd-kde is just a front-end.
Do you know if this was happening before the last version update also? Sorry cannot help more rigth know. I am outside of the country and the hotel has no internet. regards Iker.
