With the MELPA-packages in sight and as a fix for a reported debian bug [1] I'd like to merge the development branch 'heimkehr' back into master.
The branch 'heimkehr' contains two major improvements: A fix for calling STATUS on selected mailboxes and egh's improved IMAP search. Both improvements where finished some time ago and I'm running both against a couple of different IMAP servers without problems for ~2 years now. Fixing the STATUS bug (=calling STATUS on a selected mailbox) required a subsequence change to the way WL saves draft messages. The gist of this change is, that WL obtains the internal message number of a draft message after it was appended to a draft folder, not before. For IMAP draft folders this means that, depending on the server capabilities, WL might not be able to obtain the internal number. This in turn means that WL won't be able to delete the old draft message when the draft is updated. I.e. old draft messages might pile up. If there are no objections I'd like to merge both branches at the end of this week (~ May, 2nd 2014).
