Package: linux-image-3.11.10.wheezymptcp
Version: 201404071101
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

After upgrading to linux-image-3.11.10.wheezymptcp I noticed, hal does not see
he control
device to the ericsson GPS device as present in the Lenovo Thinkpad T420 (and
many more notebooks)
anymore. Therefore the GPS device can not be initialized and used by gpsd
anymore.

Back to the stock wheezy kernel 3.2.x the mbm_gps_ctrl and mbm_pcsc devices are
back.

$ lshal | grep mbm
  info.capabilities = {'mbm_gps_ctrl'} (string list)
  info.capabilities = {'mbm_pcsc'} (string list)
  info.capabilities = {'serial', 'mbm_gps_nmea'} (string list)
  info.capabilities = {'serial', 'modem', 'mbm_nm'} (string list)
  info.capabilities = {'net', 'mbm_net'} (string list)
  info.capabilities = {'serial', 'mbm_sms'} (string list)
