When configuring a transaction report, gnucash crashes with the python
traceback below. When starting gnucash, the lines in the traceback up
to and including "Found Finance::Quote version 1.18" occur immediately,
but gnucash seems to start normally, with my previously open register
windows opened.
I select Transaction Report which brings up an empty report (No accounts
selected). I select Options. On the General tab I change start and end
dates to start and end of previous year. On the Sorting tab I change
secondary subtotal for date key to none. I click Apply and there is no
change in the report (expected, because I haven't selected any
accounts), and there is no additional console output. Now, on the
Accounts tab I select Expenses and then Select Children. When I select
Apply, the remainder of the traceback is printed and the gnucash window
disappears.
Prior to upgrading from 1:2.6.1-2 to 1:2.6.2-1, the lines beginning
"Traceback..." through "ImportError..." did not occur; on startup, the
first line of console output was "Found Finance::Quote version 1.18".
However, the crash did occur in version 1:2.6.1-2 (current testing).
The only reason I upgraded gnucash from testing to unstable was to
determine if this bug existed in the newest version.
