Package: gtypist Version: 2.9.1-2.1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, *** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation? If I am doing any exercise and suppose I have to type the letters "he" and instead of typing the letter 'h' I by mistake I type the letter 'e' (which I am supposed to type after 'h' * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Type the second letter first. * What was the outcome of this action? The next letter is automatically inserted without my typing it. In my example of "he" if I by mistake type 'e' first instead of 'h', gtypist will show error "^" below h and automatically insert an e next to 'e', placing the cursor after 'e'. * What outcome did you expect instead? If I make any mistake, the cursor should not automatically insert the next letter by its own. If I make a mistake by typing "e" instead of "h" in "he", I would not like 'e' to be inserted automatically. Note: It only happens if the wrong letter typed is the immediate next letter in the series. Sorry this is the first ever bug report that I am submitting. Please forgive if I made any mistake. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_IN.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_IN.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gtypist depends on: ii dpkg 1.16.12 ii fortune-mod 1:1.99.1-4 ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-10 ii libc6 2.13-38+deb7u1 ii libncursesw5 5.9-10 ii libtinfo5 5.9-10 Versions of packages gtypist recommends: ii fortunes-min [fortune-cookie-db] 1:1.99.1-4 Versions of packages gtypist suggests: ii vim-addon-manager 0.5.2 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
