Package: coreutils
Version: 5.93-3
Severity: normal

Hi,

just had a support problem in #debian regarding upgrading coreutils in
unstable. The postinst failed, it turned out the user had another,
incompatible, install-info (from TeXlive) installed in /usr/local/bin.
As the install-info call in coreutils' postinst does not specify a path,
this one got called rather than the one in dpkg, making it choke on the
--section arguments:

20:07 < rdrs> azeem: output is 'No such file or directory for Basics',
        same as before

As several install-info are circulating (albeit not in Debian), I think
it would be alright to make sure /usr/sbin/install-info is called, to
prevent coreutils from not upgrading.

cheers,

Michael
