Hi KEN, the latest version works for me and the crashes are gone. Thank you. Unfortunately now I discovered another issue, maybe somebody of you can shed some light on it. I can't control the plane with the arrow keys as described in sopwith's man page. However the comma and slash keys do work. I tested the new version on two computers but the result is the same. When I install version 1.7.4 from wheezy, the arrow keys work as intended and I can control the plane. Please let me know what I can do to help you with debugging or resolving this bug. Markus
