Looks like an upstream problem, I am afraid that I cannot help too much in troubleshooting it, since I am not familiar with the code. Can you please check in the upstream bugs if it's already reported? I took a quick look and didn't found anything that matched exactly. https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/buglist.cgi?product=SDL&component=joystick If it's a known and fixed problem we can incorporate a patch, if not it has to be reported first (if you do it, please tell us so we will set the "forwarded" accordingly, otherwise I will do it).
