You can try your luck and reassign the bug to libmailtools-perl, but IMHO it's unlikely that it would qualify as a security-update :-P In fact since Mail::Mailer is fully usuable without Net::SMTP::SSL for methods other than 'smtps', making libmailtools-perl depend on libnet-smtp-ssl-perl can be seen as controversial, as it seems to contradict Debian Policy section 7.2: https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-binarydeps Cheers, -- Guilhem.
