Package: virtualbox-guest-x11 Version: 4.2.16-dfsg-3~bpo70+1 Severity: important
Dear Maintainer, It is not uncommon for ISV OpenGL applications (e.g. games) to be distributed only as i386 binaries. VirtualBox's packaging in Debian does not support this - the video driver is mixed in with a bunch of unrelated utilities and does not install required pieces like VBoxOGL.so into multiarch-capable locations. Please consider splitting the basic components out and using multiarch paths, allowing for 32-bit applications to be accelerated in a 64-bit guest. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers saucy-updates APT policy: (500, 'saucy-updates'), (500, 'saucy-security'), (500, 'saucy'), (100, 'saucy-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.11.0-15-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
