Could please test if the scrollbars appear if you set all three settings to true, set guioptions to an empty value and then open a document and zoom in so that not everything is visible. The scrollbars should appear in this case. The problem seems to be that the statusbar hides the horizontal scrollbar. However, the vertical scrollbar should appear if you're zoomed in enough that there is something to scroll. Note that zathura stopped honoring .zathurarc ages ago. It's $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/zathura/zathurarc which defaults to ~/.config/zathura/zathurac nowadays. Regards -- Sebastian Ramacher
