to properly play notification sounds, gajim needs either aplay, play or ossplay. So the package should depend on either of these. Also see <https://trac.gajim.org/ticket/7608>.
Correct, I shall add these dependencies. But do you know what Gajim does when none of them are available? Unless it always crash, I think I will add these as Recommends rather than Depends, since sound notification is only a secondary feature of Gajim, not a core one I think: without sound, its basic functionnality, which is XMPP chat, is still available.
