Hello, this report is rather confusing and lack a lot of precise details to investigate it further.
I suspect you were running reportbug against another package (by either typing "reportbug <pkg>" on the command-line or entering the package name in the menu as presented after running reportbug without arguments). If so, we need to know what was that other package. In any case, if you really want us to understand the problem, you'll have to provide a precise step-by-step procedure to reproduce it, without all those uncertain details as reported in the original report.
