please consider adding this patch for vertical screen split mode: https://github.com/dcohenp/cgdb/commit/0391e9c5df3cdc5b6ffde73457723bc0e643d29c This is extremly useful as todays terminals get wider and wider but vertical screen space is still very limited. The patch is not from the official cgdb repository -- on the other hand there does not seem to be much activity going on in the official repository at all.
