Control: reassign -1 gnome-settings-daemon

(Those versions don't exist in Debian, so I won't try to run them
through the control server.)
This is fixed in Ubuntu 13.10, with no changes to openscenegraph other
than a no-code-change libcoin60->80 transition and some very visible
changes to the keyboard layout switcher, so I suspect the problem was
actually there. I also suspect it is fixed in Debian as well, but don't
have that here to test.
