Package: xournal Version: 4.7-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I noticed that the version of xournal in jessie has the "Use XInput" option selected by default. Unfortunately, this option causes major problems with annotations, e.g.: - it makes impossible to write text on a pdf - both the "pen" and the "highlighter" tool do not work properly. If you try to draw a line or to highlight something, it always starts from the top-left corner of the page, and not from the point under click I think it would be better to disable the "Use XInput" option by default. It actually took a while to me to figure out what could be the cause of this problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.10-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xournal depends on: ii ghostscript-x 9.05~dfsg-8+b1 ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.21-2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.10.0-2 ii libc6 2.17-97 ii libcairo2 1.12.16-2 ii libfontconfig1 2.11.0-2 ii libfreetype6 2.5.1-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.28.2-1+b1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.36.4-1 ii libgnomecanvas2-0 2.30.3-1.2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.22-1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.36.0-1+b1 ii libpoppler-glib8 0.18.4-8 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.2-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-1 xournal recommends no packages. xournal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
