The package ruby-systemtimer is specific for Ruby1.8. It was created to fix a problem in Ruby1.8 with timeouts, and does not work with newer versions of the Ruby interpreter. It has no reverse dependencies and (almost!) no users according to popcon. Therefore I am requesting its removal from the archive in the name of the Ruby team. Greetings, Cédric
