It's now been over a week and no security update or 3.15.4 beta 6 is in debian. Had the DELAYED/2 upload not been canceled, at least #701141 would have been resolved in the meantime. I don't want to step on your toes (in fact, i'd really like to be able to synchronize my work with yours, which i could do better if the git repository listed in the debian/control Vcs: headers was up-to-date), but I don't understand the reason to avoid the fix.
