Hi, after some time I've retried to do the debootstrap, using the latest 'debootstrap_1.0.55_all.deb'. The QNAP system is always the same (no kernel change).
Wheezy still fails: [/share/HDA_DATA/debootstrap] # ./usr/sbin/debootstrap --no-check-gpg --arch i386 stable /share/HDA_DATA/newdebian http://ftp.it.debian.org/debian ## cut ## Setting up apt (0.9.7.9) ... gpg: fatal: can't disable core dumps: Bad address secmem usage: 0/0 bytes in 0/0 blocks of pool 0/0 gpg: fatal: can't disable core dumps: Bad address secmem usage: 0/0 bytes in 0/0 blocks of pool 0/0 ## cut ## But the GREAT thing is that now Sid works! [/share/HDA_DATA/debootstrap] # ./usr/sbin/debootstrap --no-check-gpg --arch i386 sid /share/HDA_DATA/newdebian http://ftp.it.debian.org/debian ## cut ## I: Configuring iptables... So Mr. Yutaka you're right; maybe things changed again in 'sid' and it doesn't raise the 'core dumps' error! -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
