Could you please run this command as root and attach the resulting grub-probe.out file to this bug report? grub-probe -vv -t fs / Could you also please clarify whether the file system containing / (/dev/mapper/VGTRAVELMATE-LVROOT) is within your encrypted container on /dev/sda2?
