Hi Yves-Alexis, I tried with version in testing and this bug also affects version in testing (1.6.3-1). Maybe someone else could test and confirm ?
Important: re-installing and running again lightdm is a bit tricky after that because /var/lib/lightdm has been removed but not the lightdm user. And postinst script does not create that directory if a lightdm user already exists.
