Package: nagios3 Version: 3.5.1-1 Followup-For: Bug #725826 Dear Maintainer, I have tested version 3.5.1 and problem is still there, so upgrading to this version won't help
* What led up to the situation? => I had to upgrade from nagios 3.2 to 3.4 to solve some bugs, but I did cope with this bug that is increasing load on server and is triggering false alarm on checks that calculate rates when run too quickly (ex: check_snmp --rate) * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? => Nagios 3.2 is not affected, Nagios 3.4.1-3 and 3.4.1-5 are affected => I did test version 3.5.1 and problem is still there => I did update http://tracker.nagios.org/view.php?id=388 too quickly, problem is still there, trying to have it reopened => I am currently checking the link in the last update of the Debian bug to see if I found something... * What was the outcome of this action? => Problem is still there with nagios 3.5.1 * What outcome did you expect instead? => That rescheduled check remove the old one, to prevent having it duplicated * Next Steps 1) Can some other people reproduce / acknowledge the problem 2) Test version 4.x Thanks & Best Regards -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages nagios3 depends on: ii nagios3-cgi 3.5.1-1 ii nagios3-core 3.5.1-1 nagios3 recommends no packages.
